Eliza is a Canadian-born writer, director,
and visual artist.

Eliza’s directing style blends distinctly dreamy, elevated visuals with authentic storytelling, balancing both style and substance across all her work. Passionate about crafting meaningful narratives, she approaches each project with sensitivity and curiosity. She enjoys every step of the creative process, particularly the concept development stage, and believes that collaboration—guided by kindness and an open mind—is essential for creating impactful work.

Whether directing commercials, music videos, or narrative films, Eliza loves harnessing the artistic elements of cinematic filmmaking to infuse beauty, creativity, and emotional depth into every project.

Her narrative work often explores the complexities of the contemporary female experience through a gendered and critical lens. With a lyrical, dreamy style, she centers these themes, examining how societal and cultural forces shape them.

Eliza studied Communications at SFU and Directing at UCLA, but it was in the advertising industry where she honed her craft, designing treatments for some of the world's most iconic brands and top directors.

In addition to her creative work, Eliza is committed to improving the industry for underrepresented creators. As a neurodivergent filmmaker with ADHD, her journey has been shaped by both the challenges and unique strengths it brings. She’s passionate about fostering more inclusive production processes and advocating for better representation on screen and behind the camera.
